Hello most excellent humans,
My name is Kirk Roberts. I am the medical mentor for the Youthlinc Humanitarian group going to Nepal June 18th- July 3th, 2025. It has been my absolute pleasure and privilege to be part of Youthlinc Humanitarians for the past 2 years, I went to Thailand in 2023 and Peru in 2024. Working and being with the humanitarians to work with the communities which we are able to serve is literally life changing. As Youthlinc is striving to create lifelong humanitarians, these humanitarian projects and service have humbled me as I continue to understand that humans are so amazing.
I have been an Emergency Room nurse for the past 23 years and currently work in the Emergency Room at Holy Cross West Valley Hospital. I am also a Professor at Joyce University in the clinical arena helping students with their nursing clinicals. I am trauma and emergency certified nurse. I graduated from BYU with my bachelors of nursing degree. I later attended Maryville University in St Louis Missouri for my Master of Nursing as a Family Nurse Practicitioner. I have done travel emergency room nursing in Compton LA and also worked in gastrointestinal medicine as well. It is my privilege to be the medical support for the humanitarians as well as those we serve in the various countries where Youthlinc serves.
I am asking for any donations toward this Nepal 2025 trip and appreciate any contributions. Your tax deductible contribution will assist me and the medical team to help those who we serve in Nepal and the humanitarians with which I can take care of their healthcare needs. We have worked on such projects as water filtration for families, Stop the Bleed education, maturation and health teaching and basic health assessments.
