Be the Hands. Change a Life.  Youthlinc Ecuador Humanitarian Project

Invest in People. Empower Communities. Create Lasting Change.

This year, our Youthlinc team of 34 is traveling to a remote Indigenous village high in the Andes of Ecuador to partner with local leaders and organizations in meaningful, sustainable service. Our mission is simple: to work alongside communities to meet real needs, build long-term solutions, and empower youth to lead through service.

Through this project, our team will support a variety of community-driven initiatives, including:

  • Clean water access through our partnership with Waves for Water
  • Women’s health support, including menstruation kits
  • Educational resources for local schools such as paper, whiteboards, and teaching aids
  • Environmental and ecological projects, including hydrophobic gardening, proper trash removal, and sustainability education
  • Additional community-identified needs that arise while working in the village

Rather than focusing on one solution, Youthlinc believes in holistic service—meeting physical, educational, and environmental needs while building relationships rooted in respect, dignity, and collaboration.

Every donation directly supports team projects and on-the-ground needs and is tax-deductible. Your generosity allows our youth and mentors to show up prepared, equipped, and ready to serve.

While you may not be able to travel with us, your support allows us to be your hands and heart in the field—working side by side with community members in places that are often unseen but deeply resilient.

“Service is not about fixing others. It’s about standing with them.”

Thank you for believing in youth leadership, global service, and the power of collective impact. Together, we can create change that lasts far beyond this trip.

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” — Margaret Mead
