This year I will be participating in a service year with the youthlinc program. I get to serve locally throughout this year then, during the summer I will be taking a trip to Thailand where I will be refurbishing playgrounds, renovating school rooms and more. This is a great opprotunity that I am super excited for!

Youthlinc is a Utah non-profit organization dedicated to creating lifetime humanitarians through local and international service. Service Year students contribute 80 hours of local service before their international service trip. In monthly meetings, students - mentored by adult professionals - take leadership roles in planning educational, community health, business development, vocational training and cultural exchange initiatives that are implemented in a small village outside Chang Mai, Thailand next summer.
