I was recently accepted into Youthlinc, a Utah based nonprofit that organizes local and international service for young people. I was able to go to Cambodia with this program two years ago and next June I will have the opportunity to go to Fiji. I will attend a monthly meeting where I will help plan the team's international service in a small village in Fiji for two weeks next summer. I still need to raise $3,000 to cover the cost of my service trip. I am committed to making a difference locally and internationally, and would appreciate your support. If everyone reading this post donated just $50 to my trip, I would reach my goal.

I’ve always wanted to do something big to change the world. I feel that I can do so with Youthlinc. The program’s mission is to create lifelong humanitarians through emphasizing student leadership, and quality mentorship. On my Youthlinc Fiji Team, I will be in a leadership opportunity. I will be a mentor to young teenagers and help them to grow a love for serving.  This leadership opportunity will help me become more capable of making a positive difference. Youthlinc is a Utah non-profit organization dedicated to creating lifetime humanitarians through local and international service. Service Year students contribute 80 hours of local service before their international service trip. In monthly meetings, students - mentored by adult professionals - take leadership roles in planning educational, community health, business development, vocational training and cultural exchange initiatives that are implemented in a small village in Fiji next summer.
