I am trying to go on a Global Service Mission to Vietnam with Youthlinc this summer as an educator to the Storyteller Study Abroad Program. I will be traveling to Hanoi, Vietnam in July 2019 and travel to Vo Nhai, NamDinh, and Mai Chau to teach different conferences. I will be helping students interview and write to document the Vietnamese stories of living in these politically, religiously, and culturally divergent times and bring that understanding back to the US. I will be teaching courses to Vietnamese students as well as American students and helping foster friendships and growth through readings and interviews back and forth. I am excited about this opportunity, but as a non-profit organization, it is important that we go through the same experience as our students and fund raise, so I humbly ask that if you are able to help me experience this and help me help students learn and grow, please do so.
