This summer I have been given the opportunity to travel to Cambodia for a humanitarian trip. I will be participating in a variety of construction, community health, vocational training, English education, cultural exchange activities and business development.
I will be completing over 80 hours of volunteer work prior to my trip to Cambodia. I am a volunteer at the information desk at the University of Utah Hospital where I help people get to where they need to go, and deliver flowers, cards and anything else that the patients need. It is a really fun and exciting experience and I'm super glad that I get to do it.
I will be completing more volunteer work through the "Special Olympics" program, where special needs adults and kids play sports against each other. I will be helping out at the events with whatever they will need help with. I am super excited to start this volunteer experience as well.
I am so excited to get to meet the people in Cambodia and to get a new perspective on life. I am trying to raise enough money to make this trip possible. Anything helps. Thank you so much for donating, I can not thank you enough, it is VERY much appreciated!
