I hoping to be going on a service trip to Nepal over the summer but I need donations to make that possible! Over the next 6 months I will be doing service work in my community --tutoring kids, helping out organizations like the food bank, and volunteering in medical clinics to better my connection with others while providing help in areas where there is a genunine need for assistance. Then in the summer of 2020, I have an amazing oppurtunity to go to Nepal and provide service for the facinating people there in areas like healthcare, womens rights, education, building infrastructure, and buisness. This trip would allow me to submerge myself in a completely different culture and make connections with hundreds of amazing new people whille making a positive sustainable impact on a community in need. Your donation will help the Nepalise people in a small rural impoverished village, gain oppurtunities they would not otherwise have. Youthlinc is a Utah non-profit organization dedicated to creating lifetime humanitarians through local and international service. Service Year students contribute 80 hours of local service before their international service trip. In monthly meetings, students - mentored by adult professionals - take leadership roles in planning educational, community health, business development, vocational training and cultural exchange initiatives that are implemented in a small village outside Kathmandu, Nepal next summer.
