Howdy! I am planning on participating in a service trip to Nepal in the summer of 2020! I am so excited for this wonderful opportunity! I have a few prerequisites before I can go on this trip, including:
- 80 service hours in the community (40 of which must be done at one main site)
- Team meetings every month to discuss how we will help the community in Nepal
- Fundraising for the costs associated with the trip
I will be performing my 40 main service hours at a nearby memory care facility where I will be working with patients who have suffered from both physical and mental issues in their life. For the other 40 hours, I plan on participating in service opportunities through the National Honor Society, my youth group at my church (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints), and any other service I can find in my community.
I would be so grateful for any donations made to help fund this amazing adventure in helping those in need. Thank you so much!

Youthlinc is a Utah non-profit organization dedicated to creating lifetime humanitarians through local and international service. Service Year students contribute 80 hours of local service before their international service trip. In monthly meetings, students - mentored by adult professionals - take leadership roles in planning educational, community health, business development, vocational training and cultural exchange initiatives that are implemented in a small village in Madagascar next summer.
