On January 5, 2023 our beloved friend, Llagner Manihuari (better known to all of us as Llacko!) passed away after years of health struggles. 

Llacko was a friend to Youthlinc for well over a decade. He served as a guide, as a translator, as a friend, a sweet and hilarious presence, an artist, and a humanitarian faithfully serving everyone in his community.  

His health journey has been long and difficult and he leaves behind a loving family that needs some support to get back on their feet after a long time of financial and emotional hardship. 

We invite you to make a donation to honor the memory of Llacko and we will work with Carlos Acosta, our coordinator of 20 years, to ensure that the money is transferred to Peru and used appropriately to support Llacko's family and honor his memory.
