My name is Kelsie Beckstrand, this summer I will be joing youthlinc once again for a service year. This year I will be an alum leader traveling to Kenya under the guidance of Mindy and Brandon Pack. I hope that this service year will help others in need, and gain new skills such as leadership, understanding cultures, and learning new education skills and teaching methods. I hope to grow stronger bonds with the amazing people I will be traveling with. 

In preparation for my trip I need to complete a total of 60 hours of service, 30 from my local service site. Where I serve at " For the Kids" in Salt Lake which is a food pantry that helps kids in need of supplies over the week. The other 30 hours goes into my Misc service. All these opportunities are great experiences that help me grow as a humanitarian and prepare me for my out of country service.

I'm incredibly appreciative of the chance I have to impact people's lives. However, I can't accomplish this without your support.
